Since it's introduction in 2024, the aptly named K2 Crescendo Ski has become a standout performer in its class and remains the one to beat in the realm of deep snow expertise. At 132mm underfoot, the Crescendo can easily be mistaken for a waterski but fear not, powder surfers—this fatty does in fact perform on snow. Its progressive rocker profile, blended wood core, and Shane McConkey-inspired design all play their part to elevate the Crescendo’s incredible surfiness to unimaginable new heights. The addition of K2’s Carbon Spectral Braid allows this waist-deep charger to maintain an excellent balance between stiffness and energy, resulting in a ride that is not only floaty but surprisingly engaged for a ski of its size. As a result, the legendary Crescendo officially surpasses its Pon2oon predecessor as the most composed powder surfer in the series and thus appeals to the bottomless pow demon seeking nothing but deeper days ahead. Though they’re far from the most versatile skis in K2’s lineup, the K2 Crescendo Skis remain exceptionally tailored in their own right and continue the Pon2oon’s notorious tradition of unsinkable performance in a deep snow setting.
